ok, freunde, dazu stand ja noch nirgendwo was... der gute alte verlässliche tricky hat ja wieder n neues album namens "mixed race". das letzte, "knowle west boy" war ja großteils ne wirklich positive überraschung, deswegen jetzt mal gestern gleich ins neue reingehört... artwork-technisch ist es (sicher nicht ungewollt) dem knowle west boy sehr sehr ähnlich, wieder merkwürdige familienfotos, diesmal aber nicht nur von irgendwelchen leuten, sondern auch mal tricky selber...
und der erste höreindruck war tatsächlich schon wieder ein verdammt guter, der sehr schöne opener hat vielleicht einen moment zu lange auf seiner melodie beharrt, aber die stilvielfalt ist bei dem album schon beeindruckend... trotzdem machte es jetzt bei mir nicht den eindruck als würde es auseinanderfallen, die stücke passen schon sehr gut zueinander und schaffen ne sehr schöne stimmung. erst gegen ende wirds bisschen zu laut, was ich bei tricky noch nie besonders mochte. aber sonst: zumindest ersteindrucksmäßig wieder ein echt starkes album.
